It's surprising just how good color printing was in newspapers this early on. This was Ford's only ad in the special car show section, however, aside from one for Mercury (yet to come). There were none for Lincoln or Thunderbird, and no dealership listings.

dealership models did not have friction motors. The versions with them
were sold in toy stores and hobby shops across the country. I wanted
all of them.
