In late summer of 1986 I attended my one and only world's fair, Expo 86. Here are some of the snapshots I took.
As I recall we got there that morning just as it opened. It was obviously an overcast day.
Expo Centre: the entrance to the fair. Somewhere I have a bronze figure of this. It's now a science center. Having missed seeing the great 1960s fairs, I was eager to finally see a world's fair. It was the last one held in North America.
I believe this is Air Plaza's "Flight Dream" sculpture.
