Parade of 1956 Home Plans #5: Wheaton, IL

This house, by mid-century Chicago architect Edward D. Dart, cleverly lifts the living room and master bedroom to a split level at the rear of the house so that the playroom and bedroom in the level below feel more integrated and less like a standard walk-out basement.

Today the house appears to be in splendid, original condition.
