Retro slides: Nuremberg, 1989

 Once again, gloomy skies made for dreary pictures for this amateur.

 When in Nuremberg, a visit to the German National Museum is a must.
My friend Ed raises an eyebrow at this figure -- a keyboard instrument in the guise of a woman.  It must have been quite the curiosity piece when played at parties.

 These movie posters caught my eye.  How couldn't they?  The Accused with the vaguely recognizeable Kelly McGillis and Jodie Foster is on the left.  On the right, Sigourney Weaver gets a Diane Sawyer makeover in Gorillas in the Mist. 




This sculpture is based on the satire by Sebastian Brant, Ship of Fools.
