Modern architecture cartoons by Alan Dunn

Alan Dunn (1900 - 1974) was a cartoonist for the New Yorker (according to Wikipedia, "its most prolific, creating 9 covers and 2000 cartoons over 47 years") and Architectural Record. The following are selections from his 1971 book Architecture Observed, long out of print. The portrait above was done by his wife and fellow New Yorker cartoonist, Mary Petty.
