One of GM's finer moments of design -- the 1965 Buick Riviera. The first generations of almost any American car model designs always seemed to be the purest. They never seemed to let well enough alone.
I only took one picture of a Pontiac, but this one, a 1952 I think, is a splendid example of early 50s Pontiacs. I would have liked to have seen the Pontiac head hood ornament light up.

GM Show in Woodley Park -- The Ecojet and Corvettes

The first thing we noticed was the Ecojet, a brand new spaceship designed to run on biofuels (a better idea with every passing day). Surely Jay Leno was around somewhere, but we didn't see him. It sort of reminds me of Harley Earl's Buick LeSabre concept car. For some reason, I didn't take any pictures of any Chevrolets but vintage Corvettes. Next year. Again, any mistakes in identifying the vintage cars, please feel free to correct me.

All GM Show Woodley Park, Van Nuys, CA -- Oldsmobile

On June 6th, it was a hot day in Woodley Park, but that didn't deter the GM enthusiasts. What beautiful cars GM used to make. I'll take one division at a time. If I make any mistakes in identifying the cars, please feel free to correct me. I'm not very good at anything pre-1953.

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado. I've always had a soft spot for Toronados as I once owned a silver 1969 Toronado for nearly ten years.
This 1966 was particularly beautiful. I loved the color.
